I am currently a PhD student in the Science and Technology Studies program at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. My research focuses on life-extending biotechnologies and the anti-aging scientific research that fuels and supports their development.
Prior to entering my PhD program, I conducted a research project at the Center for Technology, Society, and Policy at UC Berkeley investigating how neighborhood watch is enacted with modern technology, particularly on the use of the social network Nextdoor.com in diverse neighborhoods of Oakland, California. I’ve also worked as a professional UX Designer in the SF Bay Area, after earning a Master’s of Human-Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon University and an MA in Psychology from New York University.
Feel free to contact me if you’re interested, or think that we’d have a good conversation!
